VIDEO: Why Loving Your Vulva Is Key To Sexual Confidence

VIDEO: Why Loving Your Vulva Is Key To Sexual Confidence

What does how you feel about your vulva have to do with your sexual confidence? Uhm, EVERYTHING!
I recorded this both on Facebook and on my Instagram, and as many of you don’t use social media, I’ve uploaded it as a YouTube video to watch at your pleasure.

TW: Mention of assault, birth trauma, vulvar pain

In this video I cover:

  • Understanding the sex negative and vulva shaming messages we’ve all received
  • Why feeling ashamed of and uncomfortable about your vulva is by design, not your fault
  • Why loving your vulva is soul retrieval
  • Why we need to celebrate vulvas!
  • All the details on Paint Your Vulva workshop to create fabulous Vulva art and have some joy

If you’re a woman or person with a vulva, you are so welcome to come to Paint Your Vulva.

We’ll be creating art celebrating your vulva which you can keep.

Whether you want to paint, collage, doodle or draw, this is your space to explore and get creative.

Bring your own materials- whether it’s just pencils and paper, or go all out with magazines, glitter, paint, feathers, buttons, glue and pens.

This live and interactive workshop will be on Zoom, for women and vulva owners.

This workshop will be on Zoom and will be fully clothed on camera, but when we come to drawing or painting your vulva, you will be off camera.

How it will work

  • We will start with a simple check in and setting your intentions.
  • Lucy will give a short class in vulva anatomy and delicious pleasure anatomy using her vulva pillow and clitoris pillows.
  • Then Lucy will lead us through a vulva love meditation, followed by some movement and tantric exercises to get you into your body. NO dance experience or skill is needed or necessary.
  • You will then be guided to look at your own vulva with a small mirror and find your own anatomy- be prepared to be deliciously surprised.
  • Then we will have half an hour to create your vulva art masterpiece. You can draw, paint, glitter glue, whatever you want.
  • We will finish with a check in with the option to show off your piece of art- but this is not mandatory.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll hopefully leave feeling:

  • More confident in your gorgeous body.
  • More comfortable with and knowledgeable about your glorious anatomy.
  • More empowered about your vulva.
  • Supported and nourished by the connections you make
  • Confident enough to say the word, VAGINA, without going red in the face!
