Why Should You Care About Your Orgasms? Here are 11 reasons

As a woman or person with a vulva, why do your orgasms matter so much?

Here are just a few reasons why I give a damn about your orgasms– specifically female orgasms– and I want you to too:

  1. Because you have spent so long caretaking your partner and making it all about their own sexual pleasure– and you’re tired of it.
  2. Because for us women and AFAB folk, claiming our own orgasms is another way that we take back our own power. All of it.
  3. Because putting up with joyless pounding is draining your joy
  4. Because you do enough emotional caretaking in the rest of your life, and if you’re fed up of doing it, you need to also take that to the bedroom too
  5. Because your life is too short to not have orgasms
  6. Because your orgasm is your birthright
  7. Because it’s YOURS. Not your partner’s, or husband’s or boyfriend’s, YOURS.
  8. Because if you identify as a feminist and believe in being empowered in every other area of your life, then let’s bring orgasms into that too.
  9. Because I fundamentally believe that you are capable of having them, you just need the right skills and training to have them.
  10. Because I don’t want you to spend your life feeling like a nun or that you can’t have this pleasure too.

And 11: Because you’ve done enough work in therapy and personal development but it hasn’t changed your sex life much– because most therapists and coaches know diddly-squat about sex unless they’re specifically trained in it.

In my eyes, it’s hard to keep trying to explain why this is an absolute no-brainer that female orgasms are revolutionary and lifechanging.

I really, really, really want you to put your own pleasure first, for a change.

How would your relationship or marriage change if you felt like an equal partner in the bedroom rather than not there at all?

Because when you do this, it’s magical how intimacy with your partner changes because you feel like an equal partner in bed with them.

This is why I want you on Orgasmic Liberation Live course.

4 weeks of a hybrid of group and digital course, that I like to think is a 101 of everything you need to have orgasms.

We’ll cover everything from what you’re telling yourself and your deservingness to have them, to practical exercises on working out what you need to have in place, to actionable and body-based exercises to increase your orgsmic response.

3 different price points depending on your financial means– if none of these work for you, please email me at lucy@lucyrowett.com and we can explore what you can do.

Please don’t choose this over paying your bills.
